Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Montmorenci Baptist church by the Rev. C. D. Shirley and the Rev. J. C. Hughes.
Burial will follow In the church cemetery.
Mr Redd was a lifelong resident of Aiken county and was a farmer in both the Windsor and Montmorenci communities before moving to Aiken in 1928. He was a member of the Montmorenci Baptist church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Louella Johnson Redd; one daughter, Miss Josie Redd of Aiken; two sons, Lonnie and Bennie Redd of Aiken; several nieces and nephews; 28 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
The body will remain at the George Funeral home until the hour of the service.
