Born in Six Mile, she was the widow of Senior Master Sgt. Samuel William Walters, Jr., USAF Retired, and a daughter of the late Vard and Pearl Waldrop Garrett.
She was retired from Ryobi. She was also a member of Norris First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters; two sisters and two brothers; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren..
Funeral Services: Thursday, August 25, 2011, Liberty Mortuary chapel.
Burial: Liberty Memorial Gardens.
