Mrs V L Tavener, Former Yoncalla Resident, Dies
Mrs Vesta Leone Tavener, 67, formerly a resident of Yoncalla, died at her home near Warrenton Tuesday. Mrs Tavener's husband, George, died March 3, 1945. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs George Williams of Warrenton.
Services will be held at the Yoncalla Methodist church Saturday at 2 p.m., with the Rev William N Byars officiating. Interment will be in the Yoncalla cemetery. Arrangments are being made by Stearns mortuary, Oakland.
