Dorothy Hulet Pincock returned to her Heavenly Father on June 13, 2007. In her own words, Dorothy was born to "goodly parents," Francis Edgar Hulet and Ella McEwen Hulet on 4 September 1928. She was raised in their loving and affectionate home in Wendell, Idaho. She grew up with a love of learning, of nature, and of the gospel of Jesus Christ. With that love she turned to writing at a young age, having several works published, including a book of poetry and a collection of short stories. She served a mission for the L.D.S. Church in the Spanish-American Mission. She served faithfully in the Spanish Name Extraction program for 35 years.

On June 11, 1953, Dorothy married George D. Pincock in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. Together they raised six children in a home they built themselves in Mud Lake. During her years in Mud Lake, Dorothy served in many church callings but especially loved teaching seminary. She put her whole heart into teaching and loved the young people dearly. Later she had the opportunity to travel to many places she loved, including Israel, Central America and Europe. She also served a second mission with George to the Resistencia, Argentina Mission. In 2004, the Pincocks move to the Rigby area to be closer to family.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Reed Hulet (Marion); and two sisters, Kathleen Francis (Jack-deceased), and Elise Hulet, who died in infancy. Survivors include her faithful husband, George; her children: Douglas Pincock (Debra) of Price, Utah; Sharon Christensen (Hal) of Farmington, Utah; David Pincock (Lori) of Iona; Keith Pincock (Lanna) of Wichita, Kansas; Cara Draney (Andrew) of Bartlett, Illinois; and Layne Pincock (Leslie) of Idaho Falls; 30 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her sisters, Maureen Rappleye (Bill) and Ella May Sawyer; and her brothers, Grant Hulet (Wanda) and Clarence Hulet (Donna May).

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2007, in the Garfield 4th ward LDS Chapel with Bishop William Fallet officiating. Family will meet with friends from 7 – 8:30 p.m., Friday, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Saturday, prior to service at the church. Interment will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
