Mrs. Andrew Lydeen, 73 years of age, died yesterday morning at 4:445 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hugo Almberg of Lindstrom. Death was caused by infirmities of advanced age.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 at the Methodist church with Rev. G. S. Bruland officiating. Husband, children, and relatives will meet at the home of Mrs. Hugo Almberg of Russell Beach prior to the services.
The deceased is survived by her husband, Andrew Lydeen and the following children, Mrs. Esther Almberg, Mrs. Agnes Almberg, Mrs. Hildur Waters, Mrs. Olga Hoekstra, Ephraim Lydeen, Mrs. Rose Ellofson and Mrs. Vera Bloom. There are also 15 grandchildren. Mrs. Lydeen was preceded in death by a son who died in infancy who died when about a year old.
She was born in Karlanda, Varmland, Sweden on the 1st day of March, 1865. Her maiden mane was Karin Andreasson. While still living in Sweden she met Andrew Lydeen to whom she was united in marriage in the year of 1886. The two came later to the United States, first making their home in Marshall, IL, where they lived for six years. From there they went to a farm south of Chisago City, where they have lived for many years. Mrs. Lydeen has been attending the Methodist Church of Lindstrom for 33 years and has been a faithful member ever since she joined the same in 1909.
