A child of 15 years gave her life in a struggle against a fatal heart pathology on Sept 14, 1945. The young lady was Janet Violet Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Anderson of Peninsula Farm, Lindstrom.

The final rites were held at the Grandstrand Funeral Home at Center City, Tuesday, Sept 18. The Rev Marlen Johnson of First Methodist Church officiating and paid tender tribute to the child departed.

Norman Bohleen sang the message in song and Paul Bloom officiated at the organ.

Those who survive Janet Violet are, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Anderson; a brother Eugene and a sister Lois (Mrs. William L. Berkebile.

The pallbearers were: Ann Ransden, Ruth Bennett, Shirley Bohleen, Margaret Anderson, Faith Johnson, and Hope Johnson. Interment was in the Methodist Cemetery.
