He first settled in Chisago City later moving to a farm near Kost where he lived with his wife and three children. In 1921 they moved to Lindstrom living here until the death of Mrs. Anderson, March 26, 1931. Since that time he has lived with his son at Kost.

Funeral rites were held Friday at the Free Mission Church in Kost to which body the Anderson family has belonged for a number of years. Services were in charge of by Rev. John Hawkinson. The deceased had chosen as text for his funeral Phil 1:23 “Having the desire to depart and be with Christ for it is far better.” Rev. E. A. Wahlquist spoke in Swedish and the Pastor in English.
