Blanche Lorraine Andersen, 67, died Friday, March 21 at the University of Minnesota Hospital. Services were held Tuesday, March 25 from the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom with the Rev Vicki Pedersen-Schneider officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery, Lindstrom.

She was born March 31, 1918 near Eau Claire, Wisc. She lost her parents as a child and was adopted by Tony's and Ellen Andersen of Milltown Wisconsin in 1923. She came to Center City with her family in 1930, attending Lindstrom-Center City-Shafer high school where she graduated in 1936.

She moved to Minneapolis where she did housework for several years. She spent the last 15 years as a resident of South Center Manor in Center City and participated in activities at the Chisago County Development Achievement Center in Chisago City.

She is survived by her brother, Earl L. Andersen of Center City and several cousins.
