Mrs. Christine Anderson died at her home at Sunrise River, Friday, Aug 2, after a long and painful illness, having suffered from acute rheumatism for a number of years. She was born in Hoby, Blekinge "lan",Sweden, June 4, 1833 and has resided in this country about 50 years. Of recent years she has lived with her son Albert Anderson about 4 miles west of town out in the Sunrise River Country.
The funeral was held Aug 5th, Rev Stromgren of this village, officiating. Interment was held at Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson leaves to survive her, 3 children, viz, August Anderson of Oregon, Albert Anderson, who resides at the old homestead and Mrs. C. F. Lundbeck of this village.
