GLENNVILLE -- Gerald F. Anderson, 65, died Monday at home after a long illness.

The Tattnall County native lived in Glennville most of his life and was a retired civil service employee and a farmer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and attended Ella Grove Baptist church. He was a Mason, a member of Philadelphia Lodge No. 73 F&AM and the Iron Workers Association.

Surviving are his wife, Shelby J. Anderson of Glennville; a daughter, Frances Montgomery of Covington; four sons, Gerald R., Mickey, Nickey and Travis Anderson, all of Glennville; two sisters, Wanda Gibbs of Meldrim and Mary Burch of Brunswick; two brothers, A. R. Anderson of Brunswick and Edgar L. Anderson of Ontario, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church, burial in church cemetery
