Funeral services for Sherman Sylvester Essary, 57, of Corinth, are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Union Cemetery.
Mr. Essary died Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at his residence. Born Feb. 4, 1954, he was logger who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching wrestling and spending time at his sister's house eating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Lovita Eaton Essary; two brothers, Winford and Gaither Essary; and three sisters, Judy Essary, Elawayne Essary Hodum and an infant sister.
Survivors include his daughter, Syvia Eaton; three grandchildren, Donovon, Devin and Kaylee Rizon all of Ripley; five sisters, Janira Essary and Bill Boren, Syble Rutledge, Eloria Risner all of Corinth, Nita Rutledge and Ima Nell Jones of Guys, Tn,; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
