Elsa a/k/a "Elsie".

Obituary-
Peacefully at the Emerson Personal Care Home, Elsie entered into eternal rest.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Mel (Mary) of Neepawa and Dennis (Virginia) of Dominion City; eight daughters, Betty (Glen) Wilkinson of Transcona, Evelyn McJannet of Melita, Lil (Gordon) Merry of Kelowna, Wendy Weiss of Altona and from Vancouver are Doris Taylor, Shirley Weiss, Linda (John) Mulliner and Lorraine Walker. Also left to cherish her memory are 13 grandchildren, Tammy, Todd, Mark, Brenda, Christal, Kory, Gavin, Regan, Kiersten, Chelsey, Sean, Reishan, and Curtis, and nine great grandchildren. Brother Gerhard (Lillian) Schultz; sister Elmina Burgess and sister in-law Lily Schultz.
Elsie was predeceased by her beloved husband, John in 1975, her parents Rudolf and Justine Schultz, her brothers Reinhold and Bill and her sister "Jane" Johanna .
Elsie was born on the family farm in Friedensthal, MB. After her marriage to John, they moved to Dominion City area where they raised their family. Elsie's family will always remember those fabulous home cooked meals and especially the cabbage rolls and buns that no one could make like her.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Emerson Personal Care Home where the wonderful staff took such loving care of Elsie.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dominion City with Rev. Gary Russell officiating. Cremation has taken place.
