Little Boy Dies Suddenly.
Wilbur Mack, the sixteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Mack, passed away last Friday, while at play during the noon hour at the Victory school, death resulting from heart failure. Several doctors were summoned, and everything humanly possible was done to revive him but to no avail.
Wilbur Francis Mack, son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Mack, was born January 4, 1918, at Onaga, Kansas, and died suddenly while at school January 19, 1934, at the age of 16 years and 15 days. He leaves to mourn his departure, his father and mother; four sisters, Wilma, Mary, Colleen and Jennie, all of the home, one sister, Jessie, preceeding him in death in infancy. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
He was a regular attendant at Sunday school, and especially liked the song, "Brighten and Corner Where You Are." Funeral services were held at the Onaga Baptist church, Sunday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock, in charge of Rev. A. E. Retzer, of Wamego. The sorrowing family have the sympathy of the community in their sad loss.
