Dennis served as a Second Lieutenant on B-24G #42-78252, 552nd Army Air Field Base Unit, 4th Ferry Squad, 2nd Ferrying Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Niagara County, New York prior to the war. He had family, possibly his father, residing in Caledonia, Livingston County, New York during the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on January 20, 1942 in Buffalo, New York. He was noted as being employed as a Weigher and also as Single, without dependents.

Dennis died in the "Line Of Duty" when his B-24 crashed during takeoff at Waller Field, Trinidad for unknown reasons during the war.
