GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Laurence J. Bump Sr., 65, of Orange City, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at the VA Hospital in Gainesville.
Mr. Bump was born in Shaftsbury, Vt. and moved to Orange City five and a half years ago from Hoosick Falls, N.Y. He was an Army veteran and a retired truck driver with Pepsi Allied Bottling in Latham, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife of 13 and a half years, Mary Bump; three daughters, one son, two sisters, one brother, and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Martha Joy and wife Joan Sauer.
