Second wife of Peter Angevine, married 1758-59 at age 27, so possibly married before and widowed.

Angevine Genealogy by Clyde Angevine, p. 21: "Died after June 1774." Many family trees online say died June 1774.

Peter Angevine and Marie Angevine were the god parents of his nephew Peter Angevine, baptised at this church Sept. 24, 1734, the son of Lewis and Esther Sicard Angevine. It is possible Marie was Peter Angevine's first wife. But if so, there is a 13-year gap until his first children were born. If Marie was his first wife, it is possible he even married three times rather than twice.

Frank J. Doherty, author of The Settlers of the Beekman Patent (vols.I-Xi), stated that Abigail may have been a widow and that either her maiden name or first husband (Williams) was probably a translation of Cornelius.
If typical naming patterns were followed, her parents might have been Joseph and Rachel (Williams?).

She may have been a niece of Abigail Williams (1708-1770) who married Francis Purdy. She was a daughter of Rev. John Williams (born c1686) and his second wife Abigail (Allyn). Rev. Williams and Abigail had a large family, as he did also with his first wife, Eunice Mather.

Abigail Williams Angevine does not appear to have been a sister or half-sister but perhaps cousin of Alice Williams who married John Cornell, a double-first cousin of Peter Cornell whose son Richard married Elizabeth Angevine, niece of Pierre (Peter) Angevine Jr.
Alice Williams Cornell (1744-1830) was the mother of Isaac Cornell, the father of Margaret Cornell (Mrs. Jonathan Carpenter) of New Rochelle. Alice Williams’ parents were John Williams (1706-1774) and Alice Metcalf (1712-40) who married 30 Jun 1736 at Lebanon, CT.
