He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving in the Korean War. He worked for Bristol Steel, Southern Engineering in Charlotte, NC and Kirby Building Systems in Portland, TN.
Wiley was a member for over 50 years at State Street United Methodist Church serving as a board member and usher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewing Wiley and Dorothy Hornberger Parker.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Jewell Lyle Parker; one daughter, Cynthia Parker Collins and husband, Douglas of Locust, NC; two sons, Dr. Wiley Lyle Parker and wife, Regina of Houston, TX and Dennis Winston Parker of Duffield, VA and four grandchildren, Emily Denise Parker, Jennifer Parker, Dennis Ray Collins and Sarah Beth Collins.
