He was born April 9, 1949, in Elwood, the son of Wilford P. and Anna Mae (Hendrickson) Aldridge. He worked as a production supervisor and retired from Aerotek Corp. in April of 2010. He was a 1967 graduate of Wendell L. Willkie High School in Elwood. He received a bachelor of science degree in business from Indiana University. David served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Elwood Elks Lodge 368. He enjoyed playing golf, reading, listening to music, spending time with his grandchildren, and Notre Dame football.
Survivors include daughter, . . . of Frankton; son, . . . of Elwood; two sisters, . . . of Elwood and . . . of Tipton; two grandchildren, . . . of Frankton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Norman Aldridge.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with the Rev. Josh Carney officiating. Visitation will be 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Elwood with military graveside honors.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Missionary Baptist Church through the funeral home.
