Myra was born near Shelbyville, daughter of E.W. and Maude Hall. Myra was a long time resident of Springfield, she moved to Signal Mountain in 2003. She was a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by nine siblings, her husband, Joseph L. Ekiss, and son, J.L. Ekiss, Jr.
