Funeral services for Roland Snodgrass, 74, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Elks Lodge in Palmer. He died Aug. 7 at Providence Hospital.
He was born June 28, 1909, in McMinnville, Ore. He was a retired dairy farmer in the Mat-su Valley and was a former state director of Agriculture.
Survivors are his wife, Alice Snodgrass; a son, Jack Snodgrass; and three grandchildren, all of Palmer; three sisters, Agnes Reed, Margaret McCartney and Mary Verral, also of Palmer; and one brother, Bill Snodgrass of Sequim, Wash.
