Satisfactory evidence was this day adducted in open court, that NATHANIEL CARTER, JOHN CARTER, FRANCIS CARTER are the legal reps. only heirs at law in fee to NATHANIEL CARTER late of Prince William.

Death was filed by his son N. G. Carter
Died at or near Moses Thorpe's house.

Know all men by these presents that we Frances Carter and John Bigges are held and firmly bound and William H Cabell Governor of Virginia in the just and full sum of $150 Dollars to which payment well and truly to be made to the said Governor or his successors we bind ourselves our heirs Executors administrators and assigns jointly and severly and firmly by these presents Sealed with our seals and dated this 24th day of April 1807
The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage shorly intended to be solemnised between the above bound Frances Carter and Ellender Bigges now if there be no lawful cause to obstruct the said intended marring then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force Power virtue in Law
