Barbara A. Reda, 71, of Lebanon died peacefully in her home on Thursday, August 18, 2011 one day before her 72nd birthday.

Born in Palmyra, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Barbara Crist Hesse.

Barbara was a Registered Nurse.

She earned her Master's Degree in Human Services at age fifty from Lincoln University.

Dedicated to helping others, Barbara founded Another Chance Counseling where she provided family therapy and drug and alcohol counseling for over twenty years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas J. Reda in October 1994.

Barbara is survived by her sons: Michael Reda and his partner: Jim Leister of Norristown and Dr. Thomas J. Reda II of Philadelphia.

A Visitation will be from 09:30 - 10:00 AM on Friday, August 26, 2011 in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (St. Mary's), 2 North 8th Street, Lebanon. A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated on at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
