After the Civil War Elizabeth Ann Griffith was married to Edward Evan Davis (b. 1836, d. 1917) a veteran of the Civil War who served in the 25th Iowa Volunteer Infantry. They raised a family while running their successful Elm Grove farm. Their children are Enos Davis (b. 1868, d. 1950), Elen Davis, Edward Davis, Robert Davis and their daughter Marietta (Davis) McCoy (b. 1884, d. 1969) who is burried within several feet from her grave.
