Noted Spanish Writer. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature of 1956. He was forced to exile during Spanish Civil War and he moved to Cuba, and finally, to Puerto Rico, where he died. Among his books are "Platero y Yo," "La Soledad Sonora," "Elejías," "Diario de un Poeta Recien Casado," "Eternidades," and "Voces de Mi Copla."
