CANNON NATIVE DIES IN MONTANA

Word has been received by MRS. DALE BRADLEY, Rockford, that her brother, STANLEY SPRING, Louistown, Montana, passed away suddenly Monday noon. Mr. Spring was 71 years old.

Surviving are his stepmother, MRS. MABEL SPRING, Rockford; two daughters, MRS. EDITH MOORE, Louistown, and MRS. ETHEL LANZENDORFER, Round-Up, Montana; two sons, BURTON and ROBERT SPRING of Lewistown; two sisters, MRS. BRADLEY and MRS. BUD (LENA) CLARK of Grand Rapids; three brothers: HOLDEN and EDWIN SPRING, Grand Rapids and LEO of Butte, Montana.

Mr. Spring was born in Cannon township, the son of WILLIAM [WILLIS] and FRANCES SPRING. The family moved to Montana in 1906 where Mr. Spring had lived since that time.

He was employed as an engineer on the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad for 51 years, and was one of eight employees to be honored with a gold service plaque for 50 years of continuous service. He retired last July.

Mr. Spring visited Mrs. Bradley two weeks ago, the first time he had returned to Rockford since 1931.

Mrs. Spring passed away in April of this year.
