LEBANON - Funeral services for Laura Bell Sliger, a resident of Quality Care Nursing Home, Lebanon, who died Thursday, Oct. 4, 1979, are to be held this afternoon at Whitson Funeral Home, Cookeville.
Time for the services is 1 p.m. today in Whitson's chapel. Mrs. Sliger was 90. Her death followed a long illness.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Bro. James Holman will officiate at the services.
She was a native of White County, daughter of the late William Bumbalough and Mary Holman Bumbalough.
Surviving Mrs. Sliger are a son, Frank Sliger, Nashville; five daughters, Edna Hunter and Maggie Bumbalough, both of Sparta; Maude Kirk of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., and Minnie Counts and Bessie Nahtygal, both of Detroit, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Darrie Maynard, Cookeville; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Whitson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
