MRS. WILLIAM HENRY LAYMAN, a native of Hardin County, died at 8:45 a.m. Monday at her home, 619 S. 39th. She was a member of Howe Valley Methodist Church in Hardin County. Mrs. Layman, 73, the former Stella Klinglesmith, is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Virgil B. Vertrees; a son, William W. Layman; a sister, Mrs. Gertie Stone, Elizabethtown; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 2611 Virginia. Burial will be in the Howe Valley Methodist Church Cemetery.
