MRS. FRIEND DIES AT 92
Evaden (Shirley) Friend , 92, 2222 North St., died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at her residence. Born April 23, 1880, in Paris, Ill., she was the daughter of Jacob and Lena Cyphus. She was married to Morton Finney, who preceded her in death. She was married to Lewis Friend in 1959, and he died April 4, 1977.
She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.
Surviving are one stepson, Hugh Friend, Detroit, Mich., one nieceand several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church with the Rev. Maurice Miller officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Kroeger Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m Thursday.
