Clarence F. Puffer died suddenly
Saturday, February 8th, at his home
on State street. Mr. Puffer died in
his sleep, his wife discovering his
death about 7 a. m. Dr. Laurence M.
Campbell pronounced death due to
heart disease.
Clarence Puffer was born In Watson,
July 2, 1862, son of George and
Olive Fillmore Puffer. As a young
man he traveled the county, selling
merchandise, and later followed the
carpenter trade until retiring 10 years
ago.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Anna Ryder
Puffer, he leaves a niece, Mrs. Clarence
McDonald, Carthage.
The funeral was held from his late
home at 2 p. to. Monday, Rev, B. D,
Proflo, pastor of the Baptist church,
officiating. The body was placed In
the Rural cemetery vault to await Intermsnt
in Falrvlew cemetery, on the East road
