Mrs. Sarah C. THOMAS, 69 years of age died Thursday at her home here after a short illness of heart trouble. She was a member of the Navilleton Catholic Church and was a devout christian woman much beloved by her neiighbors and family and counted her friends by the score. Her husband, Joseph E. THOMAS, two sons, M. A. and H. F. THOMAS of Galena;
three daughters, Mrs. W. E. REID of Decatur, Ill., Mrs. Elizabeth THOMAS SULLIVAN and Miss Edna THOMAS of Galena, two brothers, John RICE of New Albany; Milliard RICE of
Georgetown, and two grandchildren survive her. Funeral services were held at the Navilleton Catholic Church Saturday morning at 9 o'clock and the body was taken to
Fairview, New Albany, for interment. The Ledger extends their sincere sympathy to Mrs. Elizabeth THOMAS SULLIVAN in her grief and also to the entire family. The Ledge is
grateful to her for assistance in collecting news and have missed her during her mother's illness and death.
