HOMER - Bruce Vandenberg, who resided just north of the village corporation line in North Main-st., died at his home yesterday forenoon at about 11 o’clock, after a long illness. He had recently returned from Broome county sanitarium. His age was 38 years.
He was born in the town of Scott and about three years ago was married to Miss Betty Field. He is survived by his wife, by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Vandenberg of Warren-st., in this village and by one sister, Miss Zelda M. Van Denberg, who resides with her parents here.
The funeral will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be made in Glenwood cemetery.
