John C Knoedler, 90, well-known blacksmith for many years, died suddenly at his home in Attlebury. A native of Germany, he had lived in Stanfordville for 60 years. He was born in Hamburg, Germany, June 20, 1871. His wife Hazel died March 9th. He is survived by a son, Howard, Stanfordville; dau Mrs Henry (Pauline) Ironside, Pine Plains; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
