Georgia J. Williamson, 85, of Castle Rock, died Sept 25, 1999, at a local care center. She was born Sept 1, 1914, in Castle Rock, to Vivian and Alta (Davis) Johnson, and was raised and educated in Castle Rock.
She married James Williamson on Oct 6, 1944. He preceded her in death in 1984.
She owned the Williamson Grocery store in Elgin, Ore., in the early 1960's. Following that she owned the Airport Grocery in Kelso.
She loved gardening and flowers. She enjoyed working in her store and was an outstanding cook. She was a member of Eastern Star in Elgin.
Survivors include a brother, Vivian "Pete" Johnson of Castle Rock; a niece, Alta Lee of Castle Rock; and two nephews, Gene Johnson and Bill Johnson, both of Castle Rock. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Viewing will be 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. monday at Hubbard Funeral Home in Castle Rock. Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. tuesday at Whittle-Hubbard Cemetery with Don Sheldon officiating.
