US Congressman, US Senator, Wyoming Governor. Served as Sergeant during World War I. Elected as a Republican and served in the Wyoming State Senate from 1933 to 1935. Elected to the U.S. Congress from Wyoming and served from 1943 to 1950. Served as Governor of Wyoming from 1951 to 1953. Elected to the United States Senate and served from 1953 to 1959.
