Andrew Greele, born about 1617,married Mary Moyse, daughter of Joseph & Hannah Moyse. He died in Salisbury, Mass., June 30, 1697. She died in Salisbury, Mass., December 24, 1703.

Andrew Greele was an emigrant ancestor of the Greeley family lineage. He was an early settler of Salisbury, Mass.. The exact date of his arrival there, from whence he came, or from what vessel, is unknown.
The town of Salisbury, Mass., was granted in 1638 by the name of Merrimac, to be a plantation unto Simon Bradstreet & others. It was later named Salsbury. The name Andrew Greele first appears in 1640 in town records.
Andrew settled on a part which is now included as Seabrook, NH. and built a grinding mill for corn on Kanes River.
*Note* During the early years of settlement, the line between NH & Mass was not clearly defined-today what was considered Massachusetts may now be New Hampshire state-
