Funeral services for Lillian Rebecca Cross Cook were held Monday, April 9, in the Green River Third ward LDS Chapel with Bishop David Dawson officiating.

Burial was in the Riverview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Walter Cook Jr., Tom and Brian Cook, Bill Lamar, and Bob and Glenn Vehar.

Honorary pallbearers were Lyman Fearn, Reed Hanks Jr., Leon Brady, Bill Lester, Louis Paul, Earl Hanks and Eldred Stewart.

Mrs. Cook died Thursday, April 15 in the Salt Lake City LDS Hospital at the age of 62. She resided at 465 S. Fifth E., Green River.

Born Dec. 10, 1913, in Green River, she was the daughter of Walter Limuel and Anne Rebecca Farner Cross.

She married Edwin Ted Cook Nov. 18, 1932 in Randolph, Utah. The marriage was solemnized June 28, 1968 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.

Mrs. Cook was an active member in the LDS Church, acting secretary for the Relief Society, a Sunday school teacher and a 4-H leader for many years.

She worked as a custodian at the Sweetwater County Courthouse.

Survivors include her husband of Green River; three sons, Walter of South Jordan, Utah, Edwin and Lawrence, both of Kemmerer; two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Carol) Lamar of Bridgeport, Washington and Karen Cook of Green River; one sister, Mrs. Donald (Clara) Thornec of Bloomington, Idaho; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A son and daughter preceded her in death.
