Lyman died Monday at Retirement Ranch. He was born Nov. 24, 1912 in Grand Junction, Colo.
He married Maxine Williams on June 14, 1942, in Clovis. He moved to Clovis in 1961 from Raton. He was assistant supervisor of diesel engines for the Santa Fe Railway before he retired in 1976. He was a member of West 21st Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine; two sons, Sam Lyman and Tim Lyman, both of Clovis; one daughter, Barbara Wiener, Big Bear, Calif.; and one granddaughter.
Casket bearers will be B.P. Davis, Z.A. McCasland, Claude Daniels, Ralph Sanders, Bud Shipley and G.B. Oetken.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Christian Children's Home at Portales..
