MR. WILLIAM DULA DIED ON MONDAY
Passed Away At His Home Near Joy; Funeral AT Fairview Tuesday
"Mr. William Dula better known as Mr. "Bill" Dula, died at his home near Joy on Monday and was buried Tuesday at Fairview Church, Rev. J.A. Hackney conducting the funeral and burial services.
"Mr. Dula was between seventy-five and eighty years of age. As a young man he saw service in the Civil War, one of the experiences that he sometimes related being of his imprisonment and hardships endured while in perison (sic).
"He is survived by his wife, who was a Miss Parks, of this county, and the following children: Messrs. Cortes and Hume Dula, of Alaska, Albert and Wayne Dula, of this county,l the latter living at the old home, and Misses Flora, Hessie, and Ellen Dula.
"Mr. Dula was a good man, honest, God-fearing and holding the respect of all who knew him. In his death the northern part of the county loses one of its most dependable citizens."
