MOUNT CARROLL — Mrs. William (Rose) Boothby of Mount Carroll died Tuesday night in Savanna City Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Carroll County March 2, 1879, daughter of Conrad and Barbara (Wacker) Acker. On Feb. 28, 1900, she was married to William Boothby in Mount Carroll.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Beulah) Sack and Mrs. Warner (Irma) Hartman, both of Mount Carroll; a son, Lawrence of Savanna; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Hickory Grove United Methodist Church in Wacker. The Rev.
