Funeral services were held Monday August 5, 1963 in the Raiser Chapel for Mrs. Henry A. martin, who died Friday morning at her home in Aledo. The Rev. Roy Hofstetter, pastor of the First United Presbtyterian church officiated, with burial in the Aledo cemetery.
Mrs. Martin was the former Ada Lee Smith, a daughter of Thomas A. and Eva Martin Smith. She was born March 4, 1910 in Greene Township and was educated in rural schools there.
She was married Aug. 15, 1927 in Aledo to H. A. Martin. She had resided in Aledo since.
Surviving are the widower; two sons, George, Aledo, and John, Rock Island; four grandchildren; two brothers, Charles R. and Paul M., both of Aledo, and a sister Mrs. Mabel Eckhart, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Her parents and a grandson preceded her in death.
