Services for Barbara Jeanette "B.J." Neal, 73, of Lufkin, will be held in the First Assembly of God Family Church with Rev. Todd Hudnall officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Mrs. Neal was born September 17, 1925 in Burke, Texas, and she died Thursday, May 20, 1999 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Neal was a housewife and owner of B. J. Antiques & Gifts. She had resided in Lufkin all of her life.
Survivors include her husband, D. H. Neal; son and daughter-in-law, Floyd and Barbara Petri; daughter and son-in-law, Dian and Don Ivy; daughter, Tanya Glover; sister, Billie Jo Miller; brother, Ross Sims; granddaughter and husband, Sandra and George "Scooter" Pratt; grandson, Charles Arthur Petri; grandson and wife, Adam and Lori Ivy; grandson, Joshua Glover; granddaughter, Amber Ivy; 1 great-granddaughter and 1 great-grandson.
Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Earl and Avis (Poland) Sims; brother, Eugene Sims and granddaughter, Sonya DeNise Petri.
