Funeral services for James Adkins "Jim" Methvin, 67, of Hastings, who died in a St. Augustine hospital following an illness of some duration, were conducted at 2 p.m. today from the Davis Funeral Home. Interment followed in Oak Hill East Cemetery.
The deceased came to Florida from Sumter County, Georgia, and had resided at Hastings for the past 15 years.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Webster Methvin, of Hastings, and nine daughters: Mrs. Anna May Potter, of Americus, Ga.; Mrs. Georgie Ann Stewart, Elkton; Mrs. Nellie Gray and Mrs. J. F. Hines, St. Augustine; Mrs. C. C. Collins and Mrs. Jennie Pinkoson, Daytona; Mrs Louise Bryant, Florahome; Mrs. Ora Belle Brown and Mrs. Mattie Ellen Brown, of Sanford, Fla.
