Marian Verna (White) Bramlett passed away at age 88 in Marietta, Georgia, surrounded by family. Services were held at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Dean Hunter and Rev. Glenn Sheppard officiating. Interment was in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Bramlett was retired from the Department of Health and Human Services where she was last employed as a Personnel Specialist. After retirement, she remained active in the Love Class at First Baptist Church in Marietta and was an award winning gardener. She enjoyed prior membership in the Marietta Garden Club, where she served as a past President. Mrs. Bramlett was Valedictorian of the 1937 graduating class at Shiloh High School in Glenwood, Georgia and later attended Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mrs. Bramlett is survived by sons William Clyde Bramlett Jr. (Bill) and wife Jodi, Barry C. Bramlett and wife Kathy of Kennesaw; sister Dean Gilbert; sister-in-law Christine Hagood; grandchildren Sara Cassety, Isaac Gethins, Lauren, Abby, and Aaron Bramlett, Stephanie McMillin and husband Stephen; great grandchildren Zachary Thomas, Parker McMillin, Johnathon, Michael, and Colin Cassety.

Mrs. Bramlett was the wife of the late William Clyde Bramlett, Sr. of Marietta. Their love and devotion for 61 years was an inspiration to all they touched. Her life was full and enriched by love of God, family and friends. She was truly one of our "Greatest Generation". We will miss her dearly, but celebrate her long, meaningful journey and cherish the love and joy she brought us all.
