Eva Mulford Is Buried On Wednesday
Services were held on Wednesday, June 28th, at the First Baptist Church for Eva Mulford, who died Sunday, June 25, 1978, at the age of 88, in the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Reverend James Metzgar officiated at the 2 p.m. service. Interment was at the Blair Cemetery.
Eva Mulford was born in Blair on September 20, 1889 to Suzanne Gilliland and Lenze Stricklett. She married Newton Mulford who preceded her in death. She was a housewife for majority of her life, but was residing at Crowell Home at the time of her death.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Mrs. Joan Quist, Blair and one sister, Mrs. Edna Nicholson, also of Blair.
Mrs. Katy Flynn was organist for the services. Clyde Sappenfield provided the vocal selections.
Pallbearers were Dale Stricklett, Wes Sprick, Ross Nicholson, Bill Gutshow, Mike Goff and Steve Goff.
