Anton F. Cichy passed away suddenly in St. Paul, Thursday evening, July 3 at the age of 56 years, 3 months and 24 days.
Mr. Cichy was born in Leaf Mountain township in Ottertail county, March 9, 1896, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cichy, Sr. Here he grew to manhood and in 1917 was united in marriage to Helen Joos. Since their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Cichy made their home in Leaf Mountain township, with the exception of the past few years when Mr. Cichy has been employed in St. Paul.
Surviving are the following children: (Dolores) Mrs. Otto Stensrud of St. Paul Park; Paul of St. Paul Park; (Rita) Mrs. George Van Amber of Montevideo; Omar, Wilfred and Eugene at home. Also surviving are one sister, (Anna) Mrs. Mike Klien of Urbank, and two brothers, John of New York Mills and August of Leaf Mountain and six grandchildren.
