Mrs. Allie Armstrong

Mrs. Allie Mae Armstrong, 83, OF 291 Kenna Drive, South Charleston, died May 28, 1989, at the home of her son on Colby Road, Charleston, after a short illness.

She was retired from Nu Way Cleaners, attended St. Paul United Methodist Church, South Charleston, and was a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine.

Surviving: sons, Tommie Charles Mabe of Charleston, Gale Mabe of South Charleston; daughter, Margaret Virginia McIntosh of Clearwater, Fla.; brother, Grant Mabe of Charleston; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston, with the Rev. Frank Shomo officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home where a Ladies Oriental Shrine service will be held at 7:30 p. m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1321 Dunbar Ave., Dunbar, W.Va. 25064.
