Mrs. Davis Dies at Home - - Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth Davis, 84, who died at her residence near Montpelier Springs at 6 A.M. Tuesday after a brief illness, will be held at the Mount Calvary church at 3 P.M. Wednesday. Elder W.H. Hancock will officiate and burial will be in the Davis cemetery. "Aunt Betty," as she was affectionately known, was born in Bibb county Oct. 5, 1856, the daughter of William Green Davis and Mrs. Ann May Davis, and had lived here all of her life. She was a member of the Mount Calvary church. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews, among them being Mrs. Carey Davis, Mrs. Gussie Scott, Mrs. Laurence Erwin, Mrs. Mamie Ford, Mrs. L.E. Mosely, Mrs. Blanche King, C.L. Davis, David Davis, Ben F. Davis, and Millard Davis.
