Services at Marks for William Vallum, 97, of Lucedale
LUCEDALE--Graveside services were to be held at 1 p.m. today at Marks Cemetery in Marks for William Vallum, 97, of Lucedale, who died Thursday at George County Hospital following an illness of several months.
George County Funeral Home of Lucedale is in charge of Local arrangements.
A retired farmer, Mr. Vallum was a native of Quitman County and lived in Marks before moving to Lucedale several years ago. He was a member of Darling Methodist Church near Marks.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Byrd Vallum of Lucedale, three sons, Kelly Vallum, also of Lucedale, Boyce of Helena, Ark., and Vaulber Vallum of Benton, Ark.; two daughters, Mrs. Sally Barone of New Orleans and Mrs. E.J. Rolfe of Fenton, Mich.; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
