Roxanne Baker, 42, of Lincoln, formerly of Clinton, died at 7:15 a.m. Sunday, April 12, 1998, at her residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvert Funeral Home in Clinton with Rev. David Nash officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Clinton. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to the donor's choice.

Baker was born Feb 3, 1956, in Clinton, the daughter of Marion Delmar and Doris Elaine (Chapman) Tarter.

She was a graduate of Clinton High School and would have received her R.N. Degree in St. John's School of Nursing in May of 1998. She was a 23-year employee of Lincoln Developmental Center.

She is survived by her stepmother, Lois Tarter, of Clinton; one daughter, Misty Elaine Baker, at home; one son, Shane Michael Baker, at home; grandfather, Otis Chapman, of Mt. Erie; two brothers, Martin O. Tarter and his wife, Jenny, of Vandalia, and David E Reed and his wife, Sheryl, of Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Doreen K. Spencer and her husband, Hugh, of Clinton; and several aunts, uncles and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
