LITCHFIELD--Earl C. Squire, 81, retired Litchfield farmer, died last night in Historical Nursing Home, Wellington, after an illness of a year. Mr. Squire was born in Lorain County on West Ridge Road. He was a member of King Solomon Masonic Lodge F and AM of Elyria. His wife, Elsie, died in 1947. Surviving are a son, Bernard of Litchfield; a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Eleanor) Winson of Pittsfield; eight grandchildren including a grandson serving in Vietnam; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. J.C. Lyons of RD, Grafton. He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. The funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Russell D. Fulton Funeral Home, Grafton. The Rev. Ron Frath, pastor of the Pittsfield United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Elyria. Friends will be received in the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
